What We Do

We create bespoke content to address the ways in which men are socialised in a patriarchal culture and encourage them to be more aware of gender norms, understand their role as allies, take action in their everyday lives and engage with other men on these issues.

Our workshops are peer-led which means that participants will reflect on the topics we present and work towards resolutions as a group. This topic is complex and we recognise that we will not overcome years of socialisation just by presenting simplistic solutions and facts. We ask participants to think about their behaviour, life experience and the ways in which they have affected people around them so that they can contextualise and appreciate how they have benefited from and reinforce patriarchal norms that ultimately perpetuate gender-based violence.
